About Your Coach and Guide

Hi, I'm Luis

Welcome to White Dreams Hokkaido! I’m a professional ski instructor, a former ski patroller, and a passionate mountain guide. After 9 winters of teaching and exploring the mountains of Japan, Canada, and Spain, I created this as a way to share my experience and help you find your perfect, safe, and unforgettable adventure in Hokkaido.

My mission is simple: Safety, Fun, and Learning.

"The best rider is the one having the most fun. I'm here to safely share my passion for the mountains and nature with you."

My Journey to Hokkaido

My relationship with skiing isn't just a job; it's been my life's focus. My journey has been built on three core pillars:

  1. Technical Precision (The Racer): My foundation was built during 10 years as a ski racer at the Esquí Club Cerler Aneto in Spain. This taught me the technical precision, discipline, and deep understanding of ski dynamics that I bring to every lesson.

  2. Safety & Awareness (The Patroller): Fun is only possible when it's safe. I have two full seasons of experience as a professional ski patroller—one in the challenging, icy conditions of the Spanish Pyrenees, and another in the deep powder of Kiroro, Japan. This experience gives me an unmatched focus on mountain safety, first aid, and risk assessment.

  3. Passion & Experience (The Guide): I have 9 winters of professional teaching experience and 5 full seasons in Hokkaido. I’ve taught everyone from small children on their first day to advanced skiers looking for the deepest powder. This journey has given me the patience and communication skills to help you achieve your goals.
